Lefor is an actual town in North Dakota -- not far from the Canadian border.  In 2005 Maarten and his dad visited Lefor during their annual “Boys’ Trip.”  There’s a possibility that the town was founded by long-lost Lefors, but we’ll never know for sure, because no one in Lefor would admit to being related to us!

Maarten will be starting his sophomore year at college in the fall.  As a freshman, he started on his college varsity water polo team and helped them win their league championship title!  During the summer he is coaching a 12U water polo club team, which is seeded 1st in their division at Junior Olympics.

Sheila is working full-time as a web and computer graphics designer at Claremont Graduate University. She still maintains websites for water polo groups, and in her free time, she takes classes in Zumba, ballet, and Pilates.  She misses her friends at the Apple store, and she is forever grateful to have worked as a trainer and genius admin.
